The house which bore the cries and ordeal for 24 years of Elizabeth, who was sexually harassed by her father has finally been sealed with welded steel by the Austrian officials as they found the secret dungeon to be used by teenagers for partying and other sorts of illegal activities.
It is reported that the underground cellar has been used for several unofficial and illegitimate activities before the orders for demolishment was approved for it. The fritzl house below their apartment in Amsterdam was found in soiled condition with old alcohol bottles, a filthy mattress, a drug paraphernalia and dirty clothers littered all across the cellar.
The officials found that the teenagers gained excess to the house through wrongful means through the unlocked garage doors in Ybbstrasse in the Austrian town of Amsterdam.
Elizabeth was held captive by her father for 24 years and even gave birth to seven of his children. The father had hid her in the dungeon along with three of the children where he would assault her. There are reports of their neighbours that quite often they would hear unbearable cries of Elizabeth for help. But quite more than often, the help for cry was gone unnoticed as nobody could have guessed this nature of heartless act going beneath in the cellar and never bothered to investigate.
After having to admit to raping Elizabeth for more than 3000 times in 24 years of her captive, Josef Fritzl was jailed by the police for life.
Recent reports have been revealed that an Austrian Theatre is planning to stage a play on Elizabeth’s sufferings. To hear about the news Elizabeth is not only shocked but also in deep grief and horrified.
